General Objective

Our general objective is to create an event where people come to plant trees and everyone who contributes will enter a raffle for a prize, so by planting more trees they have more chance of winning. By doing this we will be able to know how much effect these types of events can have on the environment and at the same time create consciousness of how important trees are.

Specific Objective

- Create a contest of who can plant more trees

- Create consciousness of importance of trees

Justification

Importance: In a city as big as Guadalajara, whereby two people there is one car, the air quality is very bad, which it can be very hazardous to human health, people can develop lung disease and cancer if the problem does not have the probable solution.

Social Impact: By making the competition, it would be not only  affordable, fun, and entertaining for people of all ages, it would make awareness of the situation that is currently in place. In which it can also change people perspective on the topic, making them change their daily habits and behaviour.

Practical Implications: It is going to be necessary to create some sort of identification to the trees planted per person, so there would be no cheating in the competition.

Viability 

• The competition would need minimum 100 people in order to make a proper study and analysis, the entrance fee would be of 70 Mexican pesos. It would be affordable for every person who wants to participate
• Once the person is register, they are going to have a limit amount of time to plant their trees, each tree. There would a system anti-cheating so the competition would be fair.
• By making a fun way of helping their communities and environment, many more people would be interested in participating, and with price and attractive would push people to be more competitive
• The project would not need any external resources, so it is very cheap to make completion of this kind
